521 was the predecessor to Home Entertainment. Same dudes Me+JOHN+JAMES plus another, Less focused, rowdier, harsher in both good and bad ways, always the same DIY ethic. We started in John’s grandpa’s basement. All recordings done in house, as per usual, we were figuring things out; all that is tied up in the late teens and early twenties is tied up in the songs too. At once to be making some of the best decisions you’ve ever made seconds after the worst.
